Artist's notebook that collects sketches or notes as a quick testimony of lived experiences. Exercise of the aim that it requires to be fulfilled, the free gaze necessary to direct it to each point of attention, not lacking the pleasure of each time. The acronym 1998-2000 would indicate, together with the word Chile, the place and extent of this collecting route that would culminate in the magical figure of the change of the millennium, as an announcement of another possible phase, a place of the different, a promise of openness that puts a distant dark past.

To aim, to collect in our long world with the maximum amplitude this proximity of a new time. Coherence of the discourse that somehow reminds us of Susan Sonntag, recognizing that same wide gaze advocated by Whitman, in works from Steiglitz to Evans. Everything must fit into the opening of the focus as an expression of prejudice and freedom of seeing, overcoming all "discrimination between the beautiful and the ugly, the important and the trivial" , thus assigning a primary place to the everyday.
